The Crystalline Series features a proprietary, multi-layer optical film nano-technology that combines over 200 layers in a film that is thinner than a Post-it Note. This unique technology is the reason a a clear film can reject more heat than darker films.

Superior UV Protection: Blocking up to 99% of ultraviolet (UV) light, this film provides a total Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 1000. This helps provide vehicle occupants with significant protection from harmful UV rays.
Reduce Glare: The Crystalline Series reduces up to 55% of the glare from blinding sun, oncoming driver headlights in the rain, at night, etc., allowing you to see better and concentrate more on driving.
See Clearly and Safely: This film is designed to enhance your view by allowing visible light into your vehicle while keeping heat out, so you can see clearly through your windows, and maintain your vehicle’s original appearance.
Stay Connected: Non-metallized window film that won’t interfere with mobile devices, GPS signal, or satellite radio reception.

Let us help you equip your vehicle so you can get the most out of your roadtrips! We’ll be happy to answer any questions you might have and we’ll get you on your way with the best products possible for you.
Window tint helps block the Sun’s harmful UV rays, reduces glare, helps the driver with visibility and aids in the protection of the car’s interior. Plus, it can strengthen the windows in case of a break or shatter, can reduce the risk of theft, and adds a sense of style to any car.
Understanding the Process
The window tinting process starts with us cleaning your windows inside and out. Then, the film is cut to the exact size of the car’s window. Our trained installers will place the film on the window and then work to remove any bubbles, wrinkles, or other imperfections, all while making sure it’s a perfect fit. After this, the film needs time to set and cure. For best results, we recommend avoiding rolling your windows up and down for a few days after install just to be safe.
With the mention of window tint protecting against the Sun, you might be thinking window tint is only useful in the summer, but you’d be wrong in this case. While UV exposure is the greatest in the summer, it isn’t nonexistent in the winter. UV rays reach Earth every day of the year, and Snow can reflect 85 – 90% of those rays too. So, it’s important to keep yourself and your car protected from those rays all year round.
Now you might be wondering how weather and time of year can affect the window tint install…
The spring brings rain, summer has high humidity, and the winter has ice and freezing temps, but if your install is done inside, away from the elements, it will turn out just fine! We bring your vehicle into our climate controlled garage, let it warm up to room temperature, and then install the film. This guarantees that no matter what time of year it is, or what the weather is like, you’ll be getting a professional window tint installation.

The LC2i, is a compact, two-channel processor with active input circuitry, which allows it to accept speaker-level signals of up to 400 watts per channel from factory-installed source units or amplifiers. It converts them to high-quality pre-amp signals that can then be directed to after-market processors and/or amplifiers. Users can enjoy maximum sound quality while maintaining the use of factory volume and steering wheel controls.
Anyone who does not want to give up their factory dash controls but wants great sound. Car makers these days are incorporating all sorts of convenience features into the factory head units that consumers do not want to give up. In addition, they are making the head unit a more integral part of the dash, even integrating heater/AC, and other control functions, into the sound systems. The LC2i allows that customer to improve the sound system without disturbing any of the factory features and functions.

Investing in a radar detector can give you freedom while you drive; no more stressing about unwanted and unnecessary tickets.
These devices can detect the frequencies being emitted from radar guns and signal you while driving when there is radar technology in the area. If used appropriately, they can be useful tools that can send reminders that people need to slow down, as well as encourage safer driving.
A radar detector is definitely not a DIY installed product. Please save yourself from headaches and vehicle damage by having your detector installed by us. We can help you choose the best one for your needs and answer any more questions about radar and laser protection you might have.
The freedom to relax, drive with confidence, and not worry as much about an unwanted ticket – that’s what an investment in a radar detector can give you. But, what should you look for when you’ve decided to purchase one?
Police radar guns “see” a vehicle by transmitting a microwave pulse. Then they make use of the Doppler Effect: the frequency of the transmitted pulse is compared to the frequency of the reflection, and speed is calculated by using the difference between them. The idea behind radardetectors is they look for radar “beams” and find them before than can return a strong enough reflection to “illuminate” you. Radar detectors are essentially microwave radio receivers that make noise or flash lights when they sense an incoming signal on specific frequencies.
Whatever features you find most important to the way you drive, we can help you choose the best radar detector system for you. Stop by one of our stores today and we can walk through all the options and installation for your vehicle.

It’s the first day of summer and that means the sun and heat has officially arrived! That also means taking care of the interior of your vehicle. When your car is parked all day while you’re at work, or even just while you’re in the grocery store; you know it’s going to be hot when you get back in it. If the temperature outside is in the 90s, your vehicle’s interior can reach well beyond 120 degrees Fahrenheit. You may not have thought of this before, but there are certain things that shouldn’t be left in a hot vehicle.
Hopefully you’ve never had to clean up a mess made by any of the above, but if you have, you’re probably not alone. As the summer sun and heat increases its intensity keep an eye out for any of these items in your vehicle and prevent a headache later on.
**Note: We’ve written this blog post highlighting the everyday things that can cause a mess in a warm vehicle. We’ve also written this while keeping in mind that it is a basic fact that Children and Animals should NEVER be left in a vehicle unattended.

Now you can take your favorite music and great sound with you wherever you go – even off roading.

Pioneer’s new ARC (Advanced Remote Control) app will enable users to control and play various music sources and apps in their smart phone. The app’s large icons and touch and swipe interface makes it easy to switch music source and songs. It will also enable users to manage their contacts / calls and control selected 3rd party apps like navigation to get turn-by-turn guidance through the car speakers. The addition of this ARC to Pioneer systems is a great step ahead towards integrating user friendly smart phones with the in car entertainment systems.
The app can be connected to the unit using the usual USB cable that ships with every smart phone, the other end of which can be connected with the Unit’s USB port. No extra cables are required to be bought to use the app features. The app can be downloaded through the Apple iTunes store or Google Play.
Pioneer ARC App is compatible with these models: DEH-X2800UI, DEH-X3800UI, DEH-X3800S, MVH-X380BT, DEH-X4800BT, DEH-X5800HD, DEH-X6800BT
Perhaps you don’t think you need mobile video in your vehicle, but long roadtrips go more smoothly with a backseat entertainment system for the kids! There are a few options when it comes to adding mobile video, it can be a straightforward upgrade or even a customized install.
Drop Down Video Monitors – probably the easiest way to add entertainment to your vehicle. A monitor with a built in DVD player is installed in the ceiling of the vehicle. These come in a few select colors and typically between 8 and 10” screens.
Replacement Headrest Monitors – Just like it sounds, replace your current headrests with ones that have built in monitors and DVD players. With headrests, you have the options of having one shared DVD player or two separate ones, in case your backseat passengers can’t agree on what to watch. These come in a few select colors and typically 7 or 8” screens, with HDMI input available as well.
Custom Factory Interior Match Headrest Monitors – Go with this option if you want to keep the exact factory look, color, and feel of your vehicle’s interior while adding video. Like the above, these are replacement headrests, but are exact factory color matched for your vehicle. These have 7 or 8” screens, option of one or two DVD players, with HDMI input available as well.
Headphones – The easiest way for your backseat passengers to listen to their movie or show. They’ll be able to beat the road noise, or other passenger chatter by being fully immersed in their video’s sound. (Plus – it’s one less distraction for the Driver! You can still listen to your music, or carry on your own conversation while the kids stay happy.)
Some may argue that just adding an iPad or tablet holder in a vehicle is an easier andless invasive way to get mobile video, but we don’t recommend that. An installed system is always there, available, and ready to use, while an iPad or tablet would need charged, or even connected to WiFi, which isn’t always available. An installed system is also made to be part of and left in a vehicle, where there can be dangers associated with leaving a table sitting in a car during extreme weather. Keep in mind too, that one tablet might not be able to entertain more than one child.
Let us help you choose which mobile video is right for you. We can discuss all the options available for your vehicle and can start making your roadtrips even better for all on board!

Salting roads helps people travel more safely in the ice and snow. The salt lowers water’s freezing point preventing ice buildup on roadways, and helps to melt any ice already formed in below freezing temperatures.
While road salt is necessary for safe transportation in snow and ice, it is also extremely corrosive and over time can cause damage to your vehicle. Think about when you drive on a treated roadway kicking up the salt and salt water. Or when you drive behind or pass a salt truck, and see the salt flying out and bouncing down the road at you. The drawback of winter road salt is that it can cause extensive damage to areas of your vehicle including the doors, fenders, hood, and undercarriage.
Our cars are typically one of the biggest investments we make in our lives and protecting them from the ravages of the road, like salt, is important. Of course, vehicle accidents happen, but damage from road salt is one that can be prevented.
You might be wondering how you can prevent this damage? Well, you can obsessively go to car washes all winter long, but why do that when you can take pro-active action in protecting your investment by installing Paint Protection Film.
Paint Protection Film (PPF) or clear bra, is a thin layer of clear urethane that can be applied to areas of your vehicle that are at high risk for abrasions. (Like the door panels, fenders, mirrors – all those areas most likely to be affected by road salt).
Check out this video on how we install PPF and contact us today to start protecting your vehicle from unnecessary damage.
360fly is a new camera that provides an innovative way to capture the world around you, and we’re proud to announce we now carry it!
Slightly larger than a golf ball, 360fly is a single-lens camera that captures scenes in a 360-degree video format that’s fully interactive. It packs high quality, 360-degree video into a lightweight, waterproof (down to 120 feet) and rugged design. With 360fly, you can capture your world, share to your favorite social media networks and immerse yourself in video that’s almost as good as being there. The camera is optimized for mobile devices, so it pairs with an iOS and Android app that allows the user to view, edit and share content immediately.
There is also a virtual reality component to 360 fly. When the mobile app is switched to ‘VR Mode’ and attached to a Google Cardboard viewing device, the user can view 360-degree content as virtual reality.
“360 fly is nothing less than a game-changer for how consumers capture and share video content as well as democratizing virtual reality,” said Peter Adderton, 360 fly CEO.
Rockford Fosgate showed at CES a mini amp that can sit behind car speakers in the door or just about anywhere to deliver power without the need for connecting the amp to the car’s battery.
The PM100X1 is a 100 Watt dynamic power mono amplifier that uses DC and AC voltages present on existing speaker outputs of a radio. This design allows connection to a speaker wire without directly connecting B+/GND to it, all while presenting a safe load to the OEM radio. It uses patent-pending FreeLoad technology that takes in a speaker-level audio signal for amplification and then stores unused voltage from the audio signal to deliver up to 100 watts RMS power at 2 ohms.
Kenwood is offering the first car radios that work with radar detectors to display red light and speed camera information and radar detection warning on the in dash screen.
The radios must be used with an optional the iDatalink Maestro RR module from Automotive Data Solutions (ADS). Here are all the Maestro’s new advanced features to be supported by Kenwood radios:
Alpine Electronics announced it has added a new model with compatibility to Apple CarPlay. The i109-WRA 9-inch Restyle dash system with Apple CarPlay debuted at the 2016 International CES.
i109-WRA 9-Inch Restyle Dash System for Jeep Wrangler
The i109-WRA is Alpine’s first model to offer Apple CarPlay compatibility in the 9-inch screen platform and is the largest system in the aftermarket to feature Apple CarPlay support. It brings Apple CarPlay and a 9-inch screen to the Jeep Wrangler, both of which are not available factory options. It is compatible with the Jeep Wrangler (2011-up) and has a WVGA screen with 800×400 display resolution. The i109-WRA comes with a dash bezel that replaces the entire OEM radio area to create a factory-like look and a vehicle specific wiring harness for plug and play installation. Dedicated hard keys provide direct access to phone, music and maps from the iPhone. To further appeal to the Jeep Wrangler driver, the i109-WRA has an opening screen and graphical user interface (GUI) that feature Wrangler-inspired styling.

Alpine says that most Silverado, Jeep Wrangler and Sierra truck owners are iPhone rather than Android users, so it is not including Android Auto on it’s initial offerings, although Android Auto is on the company’s roadmap for the future.
We partnered with Pioneer to visit Westerville Central High School on Friday October 23, 2015 during their Football game against Hilliard Darby to demo the latest technology from Pioneer to encourage safer driving.
